Last Friday, I posted my story about the project called AGRIFORES that I run with my current organization, IAAS LC UNEJ. As I told you, this project has not finished yet. And I want to share what we’ve done there every single weekend. So, are you feel excited to read the story? Please prepare yourself, Okay! but keep CHILLAX (Chill and Relax).

Before we jump to the story. I want to talk about a word called happiness. When we talking about happiness in our world nowadays, we can discuss the amount of our Instagram likes and followers, or maybe we can tell about the trending topic in twitter even the upcoming new song of our favorite artists. Most of us will connect easily about those topics. And we laugh together with our best friend until forget about our sadness. The worst things happen after that, we feel empty and sad when we already been in our quiet room. Moreover, we cry and feel bad inside ourselves but we don’t know the reason. Then, we look for our happiness and focus to find it by doing fun things and making our self-suffering for happiness itself. But do we know that it’s not called happiness?

So, the case above truly happened in our society, even people close to us. However, it could not happen when we understand what is happiness. Happiness is a condition when we express blessed because we felt something good and joyful. What if we face an unlucky moment, bad feeling and we don’t get the expectation. Then, we will feel sad and we will say that we are not happy and we need our happiness back.

Sometimes, we forget about what’s exactly happiness. Rene talked about the happiness in his book Limitless Campus. In his opinion, happiness is not the content but it’s the context.

It’s hard to describe the happiness is a context, not a content, but I want to make it in a simple explanation. So, happiness is not found by doing some acts to make ourselves happy but it’s in our mindset because the act is never last forever. We feel happy when we think that we are happy. Happiness stays in ourselves.it’s not going anywhere. Even though we don’t get what we wanted, we missed what we’ve planned, we don’t achieve the goals we’ve set. We could still be happy because we already tried our best to make it happen.

SO, WHY DON’T WE FEEL HAPPY IN EVERY SINGLE MOMENT IN OUR LIVES?

The right answer is not everyone able to sense happiness. When we want to feel our happiness it’s not about what we do but how we sense them and grow them naturally. We can help ourselves to feel happiness by changing our mindset. However, we need more practical learning to understand how to sense it. One of the things that we can do is sharing with other people what we feel.

Talking about sharing with other people, we can share our feeling, stories and everything with other people. And there is a lot of platforms to get that opportunity. One of them is joining the social community to make a new friend and gain more knowledge and experience. In the other side, we also find a way to sense our happiness. We can contribute ourselves to social activities and get a chance to share what we feel with other people.

AGRIFORES is really Mean to me

In this project, I learn how to build an understanding and sense of happiness. The students remind me to be more grateful. I can say that become last year students is really emotional and energy drained -it’s personal feeling. However, I could feel their happiness by communicating with them. I knew how they felt when my team and I came to school. Particularly when they drew on the bottle and asked me to combine the color to paint their arts. I could see a glimpse of a smile on their face when I gave them the new color. And that moment, I knew how happy they were. It’s like they transformed their smile into my heart and opened up my mind to sense where is my happiness. Their smile is always beautiful in my life.

The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even be touched. They must be felt with the heart -Helen Keller
